Lauren Simmons
Lauren Simmons has been a proud resident of the Champions area since 1978. She met her husband, Gary, in 1984, and this year they celebrate 38 wonderful years of marriage. Together they have two sons; Austin, who lives in the Heights, and Parker who resides in Midland with his wife, Paige. Lauren and Gary are the devoted grandparents of Luke (2 1/2) and baby Lucy (2 months), who are truly the joy of their lives.
A successful entrepreneur and community leader, Lauren owned and operated a home staging business for 13 years before spending a decade as the owner of an upscale women's consignment boutique. Today, she brings her passion for style and service to her role as Manager of Anything Bling in Vintage Park.
While Lauren has built an impressive professional career, her most meaningful work has been her extraordinary commitment to CAL and F.A.C.E. She has dedicated 26 years of service to the CAL Board and eight years to the F.A.C.E. Board. Lauren served three years as CAL President and has led in numerous capacities, including Auction Chair and Co-Chair for countless Best of the Northwest Galas. For the past five years, she has co-chaired the Pizzazz with Jazz Scholarship Luncheon. Through her unwavering leadership, generous underwriting, and tireless dedication since the inception of both organizations, Lauren has helped raise nearly $2 million in support of their missions. Her impact on CAL and F.A.C.E. is lasting and profound.
In addition to her philanthropic service, Lauren has been active with the Junior League of The Woodlands, Northwest Assistance Ministries, the Women's Business Forum, the American Heart Association, and the Champions Investment Club. When she is not serving her community, she enjoys book club, Pilates, and recently, Mahjong lessons.
