We are delighted to join The Centrum Arts League (CAL) by honoring Summer & David Patton at the Best of the Northwest Gala on Friday, September 25, at Shirley Acres. We are celebrating their devotion to community service and the 29th season of the Cypress Creek Foundation for the Arts & Community Enrichment (FACE).

Summer & David met while attending Texas A&M University and were married 23 years ago at the Cypress Creek Christian Community Center.  Today they serve as Realtors and Owners of the Patton Team, a successful real estate team with Better Homes and Gardens/Gary Greene and contribute their time and talents to our community.  

David spent two decades as a Klein Volunteer Firefighter and is now volunteering with administrative tasks, almost 30 years at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, has served on the boards of Cypress Creek EMS, Sam Houston Council of the Boy Scouts of America, and the Lone Star College North Harris EMS Professions Advisory Committee. Jointly, Summer & David have volunteered for many American Heart Association (AHA) events including Heart Walk, Go Red and Galas.  At one time, Summer was on staff at the AHA, and when she left to pursue her real estate career, she and David continued to provide support, guidance and funds to fight cardiovascular disease and stroke. In addition to serving in leadership positions in multiple non-profits, Summer organizes a Christmas giving event for TOMAGWA, aiding underserved families in our community.

Professionally, Summer & David are the “Top Producers” multiple times over for their branch office and you will often see them at local elementary school PTOs and serving Christmas breakfasts at the Tomball Veterans Hospital. If you are lucky, you have seen David providing a special holiday experience as Santa much to the delight of both children and adults.

Summer & David have supported The Centrum Arts League almost since its start. Of course, we suspect that this commitment was encouraged by enthusiastic supporter (and David’s mom), Nancy Grayson, and the time and energy they have donated, including David’s skill as an auctioneer and Summer’s finesse at organizing and chairing events, have long impacted CAL and its fund-raising activities.
